Our vision is to create an environment in which each child’s natural strengths, talents, and spiritual gifts will flourish. We also desire to take the child’s weaknesses and disabilities and see them transformed into strengths by motivating them with Godly principles. Teaching children in an atmosphere of acceptance and promoting what the Bible says about them will transform how they see themselves and ultimately how they respond to life situations. Our goal is to equip children to excel in their academic understanding of the world around them and relate to others in a positive way.
This program includes toddlers through three-year-olds. Each age group builds on the fine and gross motor skills allowing for exploration and play in a safe and responsive setting. Manipulatives are used to promote hand-eye coordination. Teachers emphasize daily routines and social interaction through small group activities and circle time. The children learn colors, shapes, counting, letters and phonics. Music, science, art and Bible are also incorporated into the total program. We love to dance and sing with our children, and your child will go home every day with “Happy Feet.”
We use a variety of curriculum in the preschool program to teach developmentally, age appropriate activities. Some include Creative Curriculum, Abeka and Kids in Ministry.
The Preschool program is offered Monday – Friday from Aug. 22, 2011- June 1, 2012.
